The second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of our Erasmus+ project, “Digital Transformation in Special Education” (Project No: 2023-1-TR01-KA220-SCH-000160579), funded by the European Union, was successfully held on June 11-12, 2024, in Vilnius, Lithuania. Hosted by Vilnius University, this meeting provided a platform to review technical feedback regarding the ICT-based Course Module documentation and discuss best practices in digital educational tools for individuals with special needs and learning disabilities. During the meeting, partners conducted a holistic interim evaluation of the progress made toward the project objectives and finalized the development strategy and core software architecture for the Mobile Application.
Building on this foundation, the partners further focused on the mobile application by identifying its key features based on the specific needs of teachers and students. Planning for language options, including translation and localization, was also integrated into the development roadmap. Furthermore, the consortium reviewed the design processes for educational videos that will cover general information on each identified special need and learning disability. The meeting concluded with establishing the work plan for the upcoming period and updating partner-specific tasks and responsibilities to ensure the continued successful implementation of the project.
