2.LTT

Second Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) Activity of the “Digital Transformation in Special Education” Project Held in Gostivar

The second Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) activity of the Erasmus+ project “DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN SPECIAL EDUCATION” (Project Number: 2023-1-TR01-KA220-SCH-000160579) was held in Gostivar, North Macedonia. Hosted by the North Macedonia Team, the event took place between June 23 and June 27. The meeting began with a focus on the technical dimensions of the digital module and the definition of specific objectives. Participants engaged in a detailed exploration of all features and functionalities of the mobile application. To ensure its effectiveness, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was conducted from an educator’s perspective, followed by testing from an assessor’s perspective to evaluate the evaluation tools.

Following the testing phase, the team focused on the documentation of findings regarding usability, practicality, and areas for potential improvement. A workshop was held on structuring the User Manual, which included writing step-by-step instructions for the effective use of the mobile application and the integration of visual aids, such as screenshots and diagrams, to enhance instructional clarity. The partnership then dedicated time to reviewing and proofreading the user manual content for clarity and accuracy. Special attention was given to the evaluation of the process for the Turkish translation of the user manual. The team worked on ensuring cultural and linguistic suitability through translation and localization, and reviewed the translations for terminological consistency and clarity.

The latter part of the LTT activity involved conducting pilot training sessions for participating students and academics. The team gathered feedback from these users regarding platform usability and educational materials, and measured student and academic engagement as well as operational success through structured surveys. After organizing the feedback collection process from both the participants and the evaluation team, the consortium conducted an analysis of the survey results and synthesized the feedback. This led to implementing final adjustments to the manuals based on the feedback received. The successful event concluded with a general pedagogical evaluation of the LTT 2 activity, closing remarks, and the presentation of certificates.
