First Transnational Project Meeting of the “Digital Transformation in Special Education” Project Held in Amasya
The first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of our Erasmus+ project, “Digital Transformation in Special Education” (Project No: 2023-1-TR01-KA220-SCH-000160579), funded by the European Union, was successfully held on March 14-15, 2024, in Amasya, Türkiye. Hosted by Amasya University, this kick-off meeting brought partner organizations together to establish a shared vision for the project’s core objectives.
During the meeting, project objectives were clarified, and expectations among partner organizations were aligned. Participants shared their local contexts, laying the groundwork for a robust communication network. To ensure the effective execution of the project, roles and responsibilities were clearly defined, guaranteeing the ownership of specific work packages by each partner. A major focus of the discussions was determining the strategy for reviewing diagnostic, assessment, and monitoring documentation across the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Croatia, Lithuania, and Türkiye.
The partners also focused extensively on the managerial and administrative aspects of the project. The timeline for project outputs was organized, and the work plan was detailed. To ensure a smooth and high-quality process, risk analyses were conducted, contingency plans were developed, and project quality assurance mechanisms were established. Furthermore, internal evaluation processes and monitoring tools were introduced, alongside a comprehensive briefing on budget utilization and administrative and financial regulations to ensure a solid foundation for transparent implementation.
